Haikara Sushi Barito — Restaurant in Jakarta

This place is the cheaper alternative to Midori. They are both under the same company. And sure enough, the level of service is as good and the quality of food is as delicious, albeit of different... Sizes. For example, they both have California Roll on their menu. But, in Haikara, the size of the sushi cutlets are just visibly smaller.

Some dishes that are more on the pricey side available in Midori, aren't available in Haikara Sushi. But, you, along with your tongue & tummy will leave Haikara feeling just as happy and satisfied. Probably your wallet would feel just a tad...

I think this place too secret. Lol On the below of the course (forget the name). Inside this, waitress will greet us with unique Japanese greeting language (you know what i mean). Their waitresses are so nice, fast respond for the service, in the other hande their sashimi so so lah, still i can eat, but i like the sushi; mentai or what name, it's delicious. Their price lower than genki sushi like around 30 - 40k for 4-5 sushi, set your budget around 70k-150k for 2 person maybe. Last but not least, i recommend to you...

A nice little sushi place, though it also provides other menu like ramen and bento set. Price is affordable, proven by many high school kids also eat here when I arrived. Location is with Visi building but in their "basement".

Food wise, well they are okay I guess. But I was surprised when I got my fried tuna set, the size of the tuna was actually bigger than the one in the menu. Can't comment on the sushi nor sashimi since I did...
