Room Sweet Room, Seminyak — Hotel in Kuta

My best friend booked this room for me, so I can accompany her during her visit. ||The staff that checked me in wasn’t really helpful, bought big bag, he didn’t even offer help. The manager was great, helped me with the wifi password.||I liked the room, it’s spacious even though the floor was quite sticky. The bathroom was clean and not stinky.||On the last morning, around 10 AM someone knocked on the door, and it was one of the staff, he asked when I will check out? I said at 12, he said I can’t do that, need to check out at 11 because other guest already wait for the room. No one told me that beforehand, and i don’t know why he said this: “Check out at 11, I need time to clean the room because I work alone today.” ||I was like, sure okay… so I don’t know if I’m gonna come back to this place or not with that kind of communication approach. Things I liked—location, spacious room, the staff. The staff were friendly and pretty much accommodating. For example I asked for an adapter and Duy lent me his so I was a happy camper for the entire week of my stay cos I was able to charge my devices.

What could improve—their towels and linens/sheets were dirty and stained. Theyre due for a change but hey, you get what you pay for right?

What I absolutely disliked—the scooter rental they partner with, JR Scooter Rental. I recommend just renting somewhere else. They charge 100k for a bike, I gave 130k (plus tip)… when I got the scooter the owner refused to give me a helmet. She said Ill be fine if I drive around the area. I told her im going to Uluwatu, even so she declines my request. Its against the law to not have a helmet while scooting, so I returned the bike while she already had my money.
