Adi Bungalow — Hotel in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

Myself , my wife n son stayed here for 2 nights and found it to be a great place to stay :) Adi, Agus , Agung and all the staff were friendly and helpful ! The bungalows were small but clean, cute, comfy and the food was awesome .. nice pool too !! When we got off the boat Agus was there to greet us and after a short walk we were there , good location being only a 100 meters or so from the beach . We rented one of their scooters and explored the Island and Adi's Bungalows was a great base ! Agus even went to the trouble of organising a birthday cake for my wife which was fantastic :) After reading some of the negative reviews I thought I'd give it a go and I'm glad I did .. it's not a 5 star resort it's simple grass roofed bungalows close to the beach with great food and all at a very reasonable price which for us it was exactly what we wanted !! Come with a smile, an open mind and I'm sure...

The bungalow was nice and clean, with quite a stylish outdoor bathroom - cold water only, but who needs hot when it's so hot out?, and a bit brackish. Fan and AC were appreciated. The power went out intermittently, but never for longer than an hour - no idea if this is a usual occurrence on Lembongan or just specific to this place. The food was pretty good (we had lunch there a few times) but the included breakfast was on the small side (we never got toast with our omelets, for example). The small pool by the restaurant was pretty and refreshing.||The location is great - a 2-minute walk to the beach - but the staff were not friendly in the slightest and never made us feel welcome even though we were the only guests and we ended up staying four days, (mainly due to inertia and the fact that it wasn't that expensive.)||So it wasn't the worst - but you can...

Rooms smell horrible (tryed changing 3 times) they kept turning electricity to room off in the middle of the night and only turn back on when I wake up in the morning after sweating all night and ask them why they turned it off.||I refused to pay full price for room after having no aircon/lights/power/hot water, and one of the staff (chubby younger guy, wears bumbag) started getting very angry and yelling and walked upto me with fists clenched and no doubt he would of tryed to hit me if I didn't keep walking back.||Horrible place, not safe for family or women...
