Puri Minggiran Guesthouse — Hotel in Yogyakarta

We are enjoy our stay during this guest house. The staff is friendly and warm. ||This guest house located in local neighborhood area near culinary places in South Yogyakarta. It's very easy to get anywhere by walking or by riding motorbike ( we rent it from the guy on frint office, with a really reasonable price).||We stayed about 3 days here on the main room near front office. We really like the room we had even there some minor but it's spacy and we could easily access the guest house front terrace with a little trick, it a nice choice for smokers).||We had no issues for the food, we like the local food that they provided for our breakfast. Especially during our late arrival, the mie goreng is really yummy. There was no more rice at that time and we asking the young lady in front office. She delivered it on our room.|||Oh yeah there was one dead bug in the corner of the bathroom (ugh I dislike bugs and I told the lady in front office), she is quickly response to clean the room and politely apologize. (Yes, problem solved)||Pros:|Cheap and spacy for budget traveller|Cozy, warm and friendly environment.||Cons:|Need some maintenance.||Advise:|We do enjoy our stay here, please pay more attention on the room cleanliness and AC need to be maintained. We stayed there during our vacation because of Idul Fitri 2016 at home in Yogya. We chooser it because it looked good and also the price was great at that time. |This hotel seems to be owned by family and they life also in that building. |The room is big and the beds also. Very comfortable. The bath facilities are a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. It's often a bit older and not clean in the European standard. But it's not a problem if you don't be to spoiled. :D|The rooms also equipped with an AC and also a TV, also with international program.|The staff is very kind and friendly and 24 hours there for the guests. They speak not the best English but in the end all works out fine. The breakfast is typical Indonesian and also served very early. It's self service and seems they put it on the table at 5 am. There is a coffee and tea bar available all the time and a water tank to refill the bottles. |The hotel is situated in a backstreet of the tourist district. So not so crowded or loud but by foot (15minutes) or with the motorbike (5 minutes) easy to reach, and infers free...

The Traveloka Award for best cleanliness and lots of great reviews made me book this place. And they were all true! The bed and bathroom were very clean. Even the corners of bathroom were clean. This hotel is perfect for those who will spend most of their day exploring Yogyakarta, as it's not too pricey but it's bed is super comfy to get back to. It's in a quiet neighborhood, and although I got the room near the parking, it was not noisy at all. If you don't have a vehicle, the hotel can connect you with a motorbike/car rental. Pro tip: although they provide towels and soap, bring your own toothpaste and brush. And although it takes awhile for the shower to turn hot, the water will eventually turn hot and perfect.
