I was very excited to see a vegan/vegetarian restaurant close to my hotel. And more excited to see Vegetarian brongkos on the menu. I went in to try.

The restaurant portion of the space isn't readily apparent. I had to wander back through to find it and get a menu. I ordered the brongkos and a juice and sat down and waited. In typical Indonesian style my drink arrived well before my meal.

When my meal arrived, I was disappointed. A plate of rice in a sauce (not a soup at all), one piece of tofu, an egg and a plate of chips for 35K. The food was fine but nothing I'm going to remember for long.

I didn't find any reason to go here than to any food stand where I can get rice, tofu and tempe for half of the price.

The space is nice and calm. The running water breeds...

If you’re starving, this beautiful restaurant/ art space / boutique might not be the best choice because it took a while until our food arrived and our portions were on the medium to smaller side. And then, parts were missing although the waiter repeated our order to make sure we’re all on the same page. But our dishes were extremely tasty and in general, the variety of choices is outstanding:)

I would come again to spend some time on the amazing terraces nestled in lush greenery, have a relaxed lunch and endulge in the art and crafted...

the gallery and store are a nice place to visit but avoid the mistake to eat there. by far the most boring and bland food after two weeks in indonesia so far, and overpriced for what you get.

lodeh tempe as a starter came after five minutes and tasted like, well, a soup thrown together in five minutes. opor ayam lacked any flavour and looked pitiful, some slices of meat in a watery bit of sauce, no vegetables, no sambal, not even a leaf of salad or the likes. ice tea, obviously made from tap water, was completely...
