AVOID THIS PLACE. This was the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at. They care about your money - not your needs. As an American traveling abroad they 'made up' an inflated exchange rate. While they gave me a credit when I caught what happened, it became clear this is their standard modus operandi (the customer service employee smirked when he credited my credit card). This is not only an illegal practice but also a very unethical one, to say the least.|| ||Our apartment wasn't ready when we arrived so they “upgraded” us to the penthouse but the TV had a hole in the screen. They said it would be replaced the next day but that never happened. We began to see a trend of promises made but never delivered upon. In the penthouse - the small shower had no shelves for soap, razor, etc and was clearly not designed with the 'customer' in mind. On Day 3 they needed the penthouse for another guest and moved us to the unit that we originally rented but the A/C unit was still leaking. Each night the leak required multiple towels and a bucket to catch the water... yet there was still a 5'x5' puddle area created. Read moreMe and my wife booked this hotel in the middle of August on Booking.com and chose the option of paying upon arrival with free cancellation until the 7th of September. I added my debit card as a guarantee for the booking, the next day I see on my balance that this hotel had reserved almost 1400 ILS (400 US) on my card, which was totally against the policy that was stated on Booking.com, I contacted booking.com that confirmed this and said that they will contact the hotel. I waited two days without a reply, by then I decided to contact the hotel directly. I reached out on the phone number that was stated on there website, some women answered and said that they do not take any Questions through phone and forwarded me to an info mail. I wrote them an email and advised them to return my money, no reply. Two days later I see that the money they had reserved were drawn directly from my card. I send them a new email asking what the hell they were doing and still no answer. Booking.com has taken over the issue and promised to return my money and send the hotel an invoice, my booking is also cancelled. ||Obviously this company doesn’t want to follow rules or third party policies. Stay away from them and use your money somewhere else...
