La casina colorata - Affittacamere e appartamento — Hotel in Assisi

We so enjoyed our 3 night stay at La Casina Colorata. The location was perfect - steps from the main piazza in town. We stayed in the smaller of the two rooms, which was just fine for 2 people. It's an interior room without windows, so easy to sleep in! The bed was comfortable, the heating worked well, and the bathroom was a decent size with a nice shower and plenty of hot water. The shared kitchen area had 2 tables, one for each room. It also had a large fridge; a sink; dishes, utensils, and cups; and a Nespresso machine. Due to certain regulations, guests aren't able to use the stove to cook. The kitchen and lounge area are beautifully decorated and restored with the stone and timber typical of buildings in Assisi.

Beatrice e Simone are amazing hosts and La Casina Colorata is the only place I'm staying at when I visit Assisi. Why? It's like home and more. Beatrice and Simone are warm and kind. Their B&B is adorable, neat, clean and has everything you need (the pictures are exactly as the B&B is). They are responsive to inquiries about what to do in and about Assisi/Umbria. I feel like I'm at home whenever I come here. Also, the earthquakes in Marche and surrounding regions did not affect Assisi - I know a lot of people have been wondering about that so I'm mentioning it in my review in case folks are still concerned. So definitely stop through the wonderful city of Assisi and if you're staying for more than the day, stay at La Casina Colorata. You won't regret any of it!! ...

The hosts at La Casina Colorata are very warm and helpful. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and welcomed. I had a very large room with a traditional stone brick ceiling, tv, wifi, a writing desk and a large bathroom. La Casina has all the modern amenities while feeling like you are staying in a true Assisi style home. It's beautiful! The share kitchen is very large and extremely well-stocked.
