I've been travelling all over Italy for twenty-five years, but I've never encountered such disrespectful, rude, jerk service. After visiting the monastery, I found the place at half past 12:00, where there were guests seated at two tables. I was delighted to discover on the menu the lentil soup, one of my favourites - especially in Umbria. The owner looked out onto the terrace three times in the half hour I waited, I waved and called him, but he looked at me and went back into the restaurant. The pasta course was a very generous size, so we shared that and the antipasta. The side of cooked vegetables were a little disappointing as over cooked and mushy (but that’s the Italian way!) Service good and friendly. 3 courses with a glass of wine €65...
