We had one night in Bolzano on tthe way to Val Gardena. This property was ideal for us as close to the centre of town and with arriving early evening and off again first thing we were not looking for anything fancy but rather more practical.||||The place is very clean with shared kitchen facilities, bathroom and separate toilet. The room was quite large with simple decor but this is all we needed for the night.||||We did a self checkin which was all good - instructions very clear and easy to follow so did not present any issues. Contact details also provided just in case and passport details taken via whatsapp for a smooth checkin.||||My only complaint would be the parking. The town is quite busy and parking is obviously a challenge generally. When booking we looked for places with parking and the property advised parking avaialble upon reservation for 10EUR however when requested this was not the case and advised parking can be arranged, if available. This is not a reservation. I understand parking can be problematic however better to simply provide options nearby at reasonable prices as I felt after booking that this was misleading.||||Otherwise was just what we needed for the night - except the 22EUR...
Read moreMy friend and I stayed for one night at Rosengarten rooms (Room 3), but definitely would have stayed for longer if we didn't have plans. The room was very spacious, clean and very close to the centre of Bolzano (Walter Plantz Square). The kitchen (which is shared with two other rooms) was well equipped with everything you would need should you not go out to eat. ||||We drove, so a downside to staying here was the parking facilities. If was difficult to get a space on the road, so we parked in the underground car park which was about a 10 minute walk from the rooms, so quite handy. Not too expensive either with it costing approx 18 euros for nearly 24 hours.||Another disadvantage was that the rooms didn't have air conditioning, which would have been nice in the middle of August! ||||Owner was friendly, although we didn't speak to him for all that long when we got handed the keys as he was in a rush! One big perk was getting a free day tourist card which we could use on the cable car up to the mountains - definitely worth doing...
Read moreMy husband and I spent our first night in Italy here. The manager was friendly and accommodating. The room is within a suite of 3 rooms, which all share a kitchen, a WC, and a bathroom (with shower). They are bright, clean, European style spaces. We agree with the review by Leila T. ||Breakfast is not provided; however, coffee is (a machine in the room), and there was a bowl of apples in the kitchen.||We really appreciated the free day tourist cards (one for each of us) They saved us a lot of money. We used them for the Cable Car Renon, the train to the walking path to the earth pyramids, and the Museum of Otzi. ||We recommend this hotel for an inexpensive...
