I highly recommend these apartments. We stayed in Laubenhaus no. 9. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed: comfortable queen size bed, nice shower, adequately stocked kitchen, an elevator, and a terrific location right in the center of the main shopping street and near the main plaza.
The staff were helpful when we stopped by the office for some advice. Be sure to stop by the office to get your tourist card. It pays for all transportation such as buses and cable cars, not just in Bolzano but in South Tirol, including a bus we took to Ortisei for a day trip. It also covered the Archeology museum where we saw Otzi.
The keypad broke while we were there, but we called the emergency line at 9:00pm and they were there within 10 minutes to give us a physical key, which we used the rest of the week. They did send someone the next day to fix it, but determined that it would take too long and require full access to the apartment, so decided not to disturb us further if we were OK with using the key, which we were. These things happen. It was apparently the first time for them, but they handled it very well.
The only real issues were that the internet didn't work most of the week we were there and I could never find a way to get the mirror light to work in the bathroom. We had data on our phones so were OK. I considered dropping a point for the internet issue, but everything else was so good I chose to keep...
Read moreWe rented apartment #6 (Via dei Bottai, 33, Bolzano). Its size is adequate for 3 persons. Its windows face west, so it receives a lot of daylight. The apartment is adequately equipped to offer a good stay for a few days. A good feature of the whole historical building at via dei Bottai is its location in the city center - close to everywhere in Bolzano. Downstairs there is a bar where one can get an EXCELLENT breakfast, of which we profited. The staff is exceptionally friendly, starting from the reception desk and ending at the bar. The process of getting into the apartment was clear from the very beginning and the communication with the reception desk staff was instant and smooth. For those who arrive by cars, there is a public parking within a distance of 4-5 minutes from Via dei Bottai 33. Parking is charged reduced and reasonable fee for Cooper customers at about 12 EUR per day. To sum up this review, the three of us renting from Cooper were very satisfied of you stay at...
Read moreGenerally it was good, if I take in an account everything we experienced during our stay. But I just cannot mention few details, that made me little bit mad. First of all, the online check-in was little bit too annoying, tbh. Sometimes it doesn't accept some data you fill in, for me it was with the choosing an option of ID. They didn't let me fill in my ID, so I used my driving license, but for me it was just annoying and silly. Second of all, at the reception they print you the address of the apartments and offer you parking, but the navigation was not able to find it. It is in the pedestrian zone and walking with the luggage around the Bolzano cenger was not the thing I wanted to do in Bolzano😀 And after all of this madness we found it, but also realized, that there is no elevator and we are on the highest floor.😀 That is what we experienced and annoyed us, but overall...
