Stay COOPER | Capitol Rooms — Hotel in Bolzano - Bozen

So at first I thought the room was fine - nothing fancy but adequate, clean and a nice size. I also liked the ease of use to open the doors using your phone. ||However one night here and you will see that the walls are literally paper thin. The neighboring room’s bathroom is right by where my bed is so I can literally hear the room next to me’s fan in the bathroom, shower AND when they are using the toilet. It was near unbearable. ||Also the hallway noise is so loud - the doors slam shut and it sounds like a gunshot. Also, if you are unlucky enough to face the street be prepared for all night noise from people on the street. The apartments are over a cinema/bar which means lots of drunk folks. I know they only have so much control over that but they seriously need to consider double pane windows cuz it is horrible. ||Would I come back here? Not unless it was the only place left in town and I’d bring...

Loved staying here! Only downside was that Netflix was not working on our tv, but we did get a lot of help from the staff to make it right! (Usually this is not something we would notice, who goes on vacation just to watch Netflix in a hotel!? but since one member of our party had a cold, they spent more time than usual in the room.)

Location is perfect: close to train station and walkable to everything in the old town, plus a not-too-far stroll to the public swimming pool. The room was cozy, we loved the communal kitchen and that the room had its own fridge. Overall we would be happy to book here again and will recommend to all our friends. We have been renting rooms with bookingbolzano already several times in different locations in the city centre. The rooms/apartments are relatively nice and the price is competitive for Bolzano. Unfortunately, we always found different issues with hygiene, and lately it has only become worse. In the room we stayed st Capitol’s, the doors of the shower were stained throughout the perimeter with black mould and old dirt, when our son accidentally threw a toy under a cabined, we got it out with piles of dust, hair and even an old handkerchief.
