Stay COOPER | Cooper Apartments — Hotel in Bolzano - Bozen

What we have liked:||Perfect location in the historic center of Bolzano - only a 5 min walk from the Parking (special rates for guests!). The communication pre-arrival was good and the entry easy with the code.||The studio was spacious, modern and clean with everything we needed. (Attention if you have difficulties with stairs - there is no lift (historical building) but no problem for us)...||Very calm - even if situated centrally. Might be different in the summer season but the windows are modern and might take away most of the noise from the pedestrian area.||The breakfast was exceptional!!!||||If there is any room for improvement here are only two comments:||The bathroom could use a better light on the mirror for "repair works" in the facial area ;-)||The coffee (Cappuccino) was too weak for us, but we found out that it was due to ordering "large". The idea of self service rooms in the city centre is a good idea, but our experience shows a lack of attention to detail. Our room was small - adequate for an overnight stay - but not much more. The WC pan was clean, but stained and the window did not close properly. ||||More seriously the air conditioning did not work properly. A young man from the help centre did his best (all the staff there were very helpful). He managed to get it going, after a fashion, but it was rather feeble - it really needed the attention of a technician. More attention to detail would have picked this up beforehand.||||A good breakfast was provided at their cafe, but it was understaffed and so service was...

Never ever going to stay in this pathetic hotel. Not sure if this can be called a hotel. They charged super expensive price per night for a single room with no coffee machine, no iron board, and yeah, did I tell you about mosquitos in the night? They didnt mention my room is in 4th floor and there is no lift!!! I almost gasped for my breath quite a few times to climb the stairs with my heavy luggage. The front desk guys are super cold about this feedback. They are like, it is what it is! Absolutely horrible experience. I am never going to come to Bolzano if this is the only...
