I stayed at Hotel Villa Fanny in Sardinia with a group of seven friends, and it turned out to be one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The property is beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff really made the stay special.
From the start, the check-in was easy and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. They went above and beyond for us—packing breakfasts to go for a 13-hour day trip, helping us set up bus transfers, and giving us great tips on what to see around the island. The bus was spotless and roomy, which made travel stress-free.
The concierge also made dinner planning simple, booking great local restaurants for our big group. Evenings in the courtyard with cocktails were a perfect way to unwind.
The only small downside is that the elevator doesn’t go to the third floor, so if stairs are an issue it’s worth asking for a lower-level room.
Overall, Villa Fanny is a gem. The mix of charm, comfort, and genuinely thoughtful service made our trip unforgettable. I’d stay here again in...
Read moreThe staff are very attentive and try their best to solve any issues that you bring to their attention right away. They were very accommodating of my family’s needs. The AC in our room was not working on the first day- I called to inform reception of this issue. The person at reception said they would reset it and that it should start working shortly. Unfortunately, that did not fix the problem - so I informed reception again and a maintenance person was sent to address the issue at that very moment. This fixed the issue and we had a very pleasant room when it was 38 degrees heat outside. The gardens were beautiful- the only downsides were the traffic noise while enjoying breakfast near the gardens. If they had a pool, I would have spent my entire trip at this hotel! I want to specially mention the staff (Fabio, the lady at reception, the servers at breakfast) and how good they were! Our stay at Villa Fanny has set very high expectations for our holiday...
Read moreThis must be the most precious hotel in all of Cagliari. Located in a renovated Villa (more like a small palace), this boutique hotel just oozes good taste and character. Rooms are very large for the price range with impeccable design, while still feeling lived-in. It feels more like you are staying at your millionaire friend’s house than at a hotel. Personnel is friendly and anticipates your needs, for example they notice there is salt missing on your table before you ask for it, or when we arrived late in the evening, they asked if we needed a reservation at a restaurant. Followed-up with questions of which style of food we want. The breakfast room is one of the nicest I’ve ever been in. And breakfast is good and plentiful (which is not always the case in Italy). It looks on the map like you are far away from the city Centre but that is actually not the case. A short 5 min walk brings you to the main walking street of...
