Noble Art — Hotel in Florence

The worst bed was in Northern india coil springs poking through. This one was hard and sagged like crazy. The double was just 2 singles together as many are but the center was a hard ridge. They really need new ones.|| We chose the 2 to 3 pm option for checkin and arrived at 2pm. It was very cold in Florence with -3 overnight but no one arrived to open up until 3.30pm. The owner had to go to the doctor and so the son let us in. A resident of the building told us is was common for the owner to arrive very late. So if you like standing on a narrow footpath in the cold for hours and waking with a bad back then you will love this place. Also heater in room is only on from 7pm for a few hours and again at 7 am. So often a cold room.|| There are some good points. Water is hot although one door on the shower stall was missing so you had cold air and the other good thing is the location. Excellent location. It is cheap though so weigh up if its worth it for you. Place itself is a bit sad and depressing feeling. No effort to make it romantic or cosey at all. Just a...
