.The worst experience ever I booked a hotel in Naples called Toledo Lifestyle Suite for 2 people. We came to the hotel at 16:00 and were told that our room was not ready and asked to wait. I want to point out that we waited half an hour! After that a girl from reception took us to another building! From there you have to go up a lot of stairs without an elevator. It was not specified in the invitation. When we entered the room, I realized that it was not the room I had booked in terms of the pictures nor in terms of the accessories specified on the booking site for a standard room. First of all, the room was during the renovation, terribly dirty, the smell of terrible mold, nobody cleaned it (I did a video and sent to booking service) Room was much smaller than stated and very low ceilings. I, with a height of 156, could touch the ceiling (see the attached photo). There was no closet, there was not even a chair, not a table, there was no place to sit, there was no place to put the suitcase, there was no tea and coffee, there was no hot water, dirty sheets (see the attached photo) - everything that I just mentioned was mentioned on the booking site for Standard room. When I told the employee that there was a mistake, she replied "this is what we have". I asked them to change our room, she did not agree. At that moment a second employee (her manager) entered into the room nervously, started swearing at me in Italian (I know Italian), told me to fly out of her hotel, collected from the room the pillows, joy, some towels, remote from the air conditioner and left!!!!!!! The only thing in the room was a fridge but it didn't work. And all the cheeses I bought to bring home went bad and we threw them away! I tried to contact booking, but got no help. I started looking for another hotel but there was nothing available at a similar price. We had no choice and stayed to sleep in this hotel - she points out - without pillows, without joy, without towels, without air conditioning. Also, the room was noisy, we could hear everything happening outside. There is not a drop of insulation, its old window closes all the way, the door opens with keys and not as indicated in the booking with the card. We didn't sleep all night, and we cried! No one apologized. It turned out that there are entire forums in punctuation about this hotel, many people have come across this hotel and they all say the same thing. In addition, I don't know why, but negative feedback from the customers is blocking booking, so it turns out that the hotel gets a very high score, and in...

Read moreOur hotel was located on a pedestrian shopping street so our taxi driver wasn’t able to drop us off in front. We had to haul our luggage from around the block, and drag it through the dirty street. Luckily there were signs on the front and side street to find our way. The hotel was in an older building. Thank God there was an elevator to bring our luggage’s up. The hotel apparently has an airport shuttle, which was very hard to coordinate, so I ended up paying out of pocket almost 60 euros from the airport. Make sure you coordinate your transportation ahead of time! Sabrina wasn’t very good in communicating. We didn’t get fresh towels for our entire 4-night stay, and toilet paper! When we checked-in we were given a room card which opens the door and needs to be inserted to a slot inside the room to turn on the lights and power, and a long key to open and close the hallway to the room, and to open the front door downstairs- so don’t forget your keys! They are all essential to your stay.||Our bathroom was bigger than our hotel room itself, but it was cozy. We were facing the pedestrian street so there was always noise. The hotel itself has a lot of restaurants, boutiques, street vendors, and souvenirs to purchase. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the palace. The breakfast was part of the accommodations, don’t expect a lot. There were breads, cold cuts, cheeses, cereal, coffee, tea, and juices. If I was traveling alone, I wouldn’t have minded the stay, but since I was with my mom- it was a struggle to bring her in and out of the hotel. Oh, and btw, it’s actually a hostel....
