So we chose this place mainly because of easy parking at the B&B and easy walking distance to Orvieto. The host was very welcoming and offered wonderful tips about where to eat in the old city. The room, and even had a little terrace overlooking the valley. Breakfast was excellent too.
They have a nice lighted path up through their olive trees in the back of the house to get to the city. Once you reach the road behind their house (through a green gate), turn left (up hill) and then enter the parking lot on your right. From there, escalators and elevators take you up into town. It is nice be able to walk back to bed after a long dinner and a bottle of wine.

Selita is by far the best host I've encountered in all my travels. Our morning breakfasts were around a large table in her garden where strangers easily become friends and Selita sets that tone with her warm, engaging personality. The grounds and rooms of Casa Selita are stunning and the walk through her olive groves up to the walled city of Orvieto is spectacular. Selita offers great advice as to day trips, restaurants, wineries and more. You will not find a better place to stay if you are interested in exploring Orvieto and it's surrounding towns.
