Right in the middle of the town it was great to be within walking distance of everything. The apartment was very Italian in style and clean and comfortable. Getting there without a car was easy if you are prepared to walk across cobbles with luggage from the little bus that picks you up from the top of the funicular which is right opposite the train station. This takes you to the central piazza Duomo or Republica. Need to do your homework to go further or find a taxi from the station. Good fun so stop and get a gelato while you get your bearings. Proprietors have limited English but we made ourselves understood.and they were helpful and friendly. Help yourself breakfast included which was good and we arranged for fresh bread to be left outside daily rather that the bread being brought the day before. Italian bread only lasts the day. We did suggest they add an electric jug to their list of kitchen gadgets for their English guests who like their tea. Everything else was good and we even got to Perugia by train and could have gone further if we had not been there in a...
