IPERBOLE SUITE — Hotel in Palermo

Dear owner, It’s not fake review. It’s an experience that happens yesterday. You don’t know my name for sure because not using my name to Book the hotel. On the other hand, you could know me if we can reach you since yesterday. Even you have very strict structure for booking time, we respected. I can understand you didn’t let us check-in at the first day. But again, we were not only booking for 1 day. We were booking 3 days. You can even ask us to check-in on next day morning. But you just canceled whole reservation for full 3 nights. After that, we were trying to call you and explained but you never want to pick up phone and even don’t want to talk face to face. We have tried to contact you yesterday night when we arrived till today morning but we can’t reach you at all. Of course you don’t care because you have received 165 Euro without any service. You can say we didn’t follow your strict rule and let you wait for 3 hours, but do you need to be so mean for traveler to cancel for 3 nights and deduct 165 Euro? On the other hand, I wrote here because we really can’t reach you. We got no access to talk with you to explain our situation. In 2019, many competitors for apartment in Palermo, it’s really unbelievable to know there is such apartment which the owner set very strict rules for check-in time and kick out the visitors because of owner’s emotions without any listening the visitor’s voice. It’s also not very elegant at all. Not recommend this apartment. —————————————— I don’t recommend this apartment at all. Please be careful if you can’t check in on time. The owner won’t consider you if you have any problem during your trip. Our very bad experience is as below: We booked the room for 3 nights. Even we agreed to get here around 8:00 pm but due to we got some trouble on the high way for ticket payment and also lost way because of unclear navigation, we were in delay for 3 hours. But we still kept sending info to the owner about our delay. However, they just said that they wouldn’t wait us and cancelled whole reservation for 3 days and charge 165 Euro on us even we have arrived their apartment, they didn’t let us check-in and didn’t want to have more communication at all. I can understand the owner couldn’t wait for our delay. But at least the owner can say that please check-in next day morning instead of cancelling 3 days reservation and don’t refund the booking fee. First things first: Manuela is a helluva host: über-nice, friendly, generous with advice and pointers, running a tight ship. Our room was quite clean, nicely designed, with an ample shower (and plenty of hot water), comfy beds, good heating (which came handy during a cold/rainy spell), large TV with Netflix, Disney+, Prime and every other channel, mini-fridge with a free beer and water and a couple Kinder eggs for our kid. Loved breakfast with pastries by the famed Sciampagna pastry shop and, again, finding Manuela each morning to talk about what to do during the day and the best places to grab street-food, something at which Palermo excels. Nuovissimo B&B in una posizione perfetta per visitare Palermo, con un curatissimo design delle camere (non si chiama Iperbole a caso e andandoci capirete il perché!) :) l'arredamento è infatti curato da Francesco che lo gestisce assieme a Manuela, è architetto di professione e lo si vede nella cura di ogni dettaglio. Avrete l'impressione di vivere dentro un'opera d'arte moderna e non sarà che l'assaggio per la visita di una citta che di fatto è un museo a cielo aperto. Oltre a ciò, quello che fa la differenza è l'attenzione dei gestori, una coppia di persone di rara disponibilità e gentilezza, pronte a venire incontro ad ogni esistenza, richiesta e suggerimento. Non fatevi ingannare dalle poche recensioni (hanno aperto da poco) e soprattutto da quelle fake provenienti da falsi account asiatici con 2 recensioni (sono un informatico e conosco bene questi meccanismi).
