Excellent restaurant in Palermo!

My family and I enjoyed dinner here tonight and I cannot even begin to explain how exquisite it was! The atmosphere, the attentive service, and the delicious food were to die for.

Shortly after we were seated, the chef came to our table to introduce herself, share the specials, and ask us if we had any dietary restrictions. I told her I was vegan, and she quickly suggested a dish she could make me. I ended up having a chickpea curry and it was delicious. My dad ordered the beef fillet and asked if it was possible to get creamy potatoes with it. The staff said of course!

Overall it was a great experience. The staff was incredibly attentive and adaptable to our various needs.

Definitely our favourite spot in Palermo!

We stayed at the Hotel Tonic and searched online for local restaurants but the hotel staff recommended Lato B, which adjoined the hotel. There was a fabulous jazz singer accompanied by a guitarist helping to add to the ambiance. We were sat next to the manager’s girlfriend and her friends and the service was impeccable. Probably the best meal of my life and I lived in a restaurant for 20 years. I was with a lifelong friend (52 years) with whom I share a love of seafood. If I could give this place a zero star then I would, but this doesn't have the choice to do that, starters were ok, mains came out cold, I called the waitress to say my main was cold, she took it away with a face like Fizz and then some, glad to say I would not eat here again due to the food being way below average and the waiting staff having an attitude that stunk like a rotten fish in a skip for a week, note to chef.....send your food out hot and please use seasoning, way over priced and service is slow and disgusting waiting staff.........if you want Italian and decent food thats not overpriced go...
