Pisa Central Apartment — Hotel in Pisa

first of all, after reading comments about it being a good place to stay, I did some research and apparently there are 2 places were you can stay, a ''good'' one and as I later will discribe a ''horrible'' one. I have stayed in this apartment for no longer than half an hour, we came in the room and It was super hot and the windows were wide open and the light was left on so musquitos were flying around in the room. Before all of that we had ( even as other reviewers discribe) to do some kind of scavenger hunt late at night in the dark in search to the reception, it was a creepy apartment and lift i did not want to go into. The owner wasnt clear at all about a lot of practical stuff and we had to find the apartments ourselfs. The city seemed scary at night but in an other hotel we end up staying the night they explained to us that pisa is a really nice community and everybody knows each other. It is not dangerous overall at night.

Furthermore when we came in the room was very dirty, we had to make the bed ourselfs, the sheets were messy and very thin. There were thicker sheets but they were stuffed in the closet in some kind of plastic container, also dirty. The ceiling in the bathroom and in the bedroom were provided with a few spots of water damage and black fungus. In the bathroom one of the other tenants had smoked in the bathroom. It was too dirty to sleep here, so we didn't. We hoped to recieve a refund, but unforunetly we did not even get a apology or got contacted. We have tried to contact the landlord. And he said he will call back but he does not at all. Very bad service. My advice, do NOT book a...

First of all, the appartment is really hard to find. It took us more than 30min to discover it, even though we were in the correct street all along. The doorbell only says the name of the owner. Otherwise, the location itself is very central and close to the train station. At the time of this posting, however, this area is apparantly very unsafe at night, espacially for single women. Late at night, the street is dominated by immigrant gangs and police with automatic rifles. As far as the appartment goes, it left nothing substantial to be desired. Interiors are very basic and do the job. There is also a little kitchen with a nice adjacent balcony that has a great view...

Aunque no llegamos a alojarnos, la experiencia fue muy desagradable. Primero, nos mandaron a hacer el check in a una casa donde no había nadie. Nuestra habitación estaba ubicada a 3 mins del check in. Allí tampoco había nadie para recibirnos. Gracias a otra pareja que se alojaba en el apartamento, pudimos subir a la habitación (nadie bajó a buscarnos y tuvimos que subir 8 pisos a pie con las maletas). Allí, en la casa, había dos parejas más; una de ellas tampoco había podido hacer el check in y nadie les había recibido. En total, estuvimos esperando a la propietaria cerca de 1 hora. Un descontrol todo. La zona (tocando a la estación) tampoco la recomiendo. Por la noche, que es cuando nosotros llegamos, daba miedo por el ambiente que había. Además, las FOTOGRAFÍAS DEL ANUNCIO NO SE CORRESPONDEN CON LA REALIDAD. Antes de reservar, leed otras críticas de otros huéspedes: si nosotros las hubiéramos leído, no habríamos tenido esta horrible...
