Cala Paura Resort & Sea Experience — Hotel in Polignano a Mare

We booked one apartment in September, be very careful because there is a company behind who is managing this property and it is a bit weird. After the booking confirmation we received email that we are obliged to give 100 eur deposit for the stay, which was not in the booking initially and was not requested at the time of booking, because you can only book without cancellation there was nothing to do, just to pay. After arrival we were instructed like in the army what to do with the garbage there was a strict schedule when to put garbage outside one night before and each day the person from we puglia was writing to not forget and to make sure to clean the apartment, this was very frustrating as I am not coming in vacation do clean your apartment. If you would not comply they penalty was 50 eur. I am paying already for this in the price for booking it is not normal to clean you should have housecleaning each day .Also for 3 nights there is no cleaning no change of towels or bedsheets. There is no TV, no shower gel, for 3 nights booked 3 person they left some small soap for hands and 1 time shampoo each . Everything is old and dirty especially the coloured sofa you see in pictures but they strictly ask you to not leave apartament dirty. Very strict rules for customers but when we asked about the return of the 100 eur it said it will be coming back after 1 week. This is not normal, usually it happens on spot for the money to come back .They confirmed the deposit release one week after we left and only after writing to them, very unprofessional and until today the amount is not yet back and they just say to call the bank because they released the amount.I will never book this accommodation again or work with...

We were accommodated in Cala Paura residence, № 15 in august 2019. We spent five nights in the residence. It's close to the historic centre, beaches and all the touristic places. The undoubted advantage of the residence is less noise than in the hotel that we left before. And there was much more space in the residence. We were not obliged to rush to the appointed time for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the calm and silence till week-end. But Friday and Saturday evenings were much noise due to loud music from the bar.|Internet Information and actual conditions differ slightly. There was a safe in our residence, but it didn’t work, one air conditioner didn’t work at all, the second one barely blew, not a single electronic device was connected to the wi-fi of the residence, the hairdryer burned out at the switching-in, the socket near TV was faulty, so you should turn off the microwave and turn on the TV . And vice versa. There was no coffee machine in the room as Booking.com wrights. To our luck, part of the problems was solved in another way. The proximity to the sea allows to open windows at night and breathe with fresh air, affordable and free wi-fi is in the centre of the town, the Italian sun dries our hair. And, only for the sake of truth in the Booking.com, there wasn’t any Russian-speaking person in the residence and around.|Signora Marilena was very kind and helpful. Great location, 30 seconds to the beach and 5 minute walk to the centre and private parking available. However we were certainly duped by booking.com, no sea view, limited facilities and an extremely overlooked terrace.||||I’d recommend for the location but...
