Alpine Resort Zwiglhof — Hotel in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

We are a family of four, with two teenagers. This was our first visit to the Dolomites and it didn’t disappoint! Zwiglhof exceeded our expectations in every way! We felt so relaxed and welcome from the moment we arrived. The photos on the website reflected our accommodation beautifully. Our girls had their own room and bunkbeds. We had a huge bed with panoramic views of the mountains. Our balcony was wrap around and the view was spectacular! The hotel is luxurious, spotless, and well thought out. The food was delicious- abundant freshly made breakfast, homemade jams, juices, cakes, cold cuts and cheeses, yoghurt with nuts and seeds, fruit, delicious afternoon treats, and nourishing local specialities for dinner in the restaurant a short walk away. We loved the pool and heated jacuzzi area and all 3 saunas not to forget the hay beds. There are so many activities organised by the tourist office. We enjoyed two organised hikes, free of charge as guests (excluding taxi). We also enjoyed learning about the farm and local walks. We can’t wait to come back! Danke schön!...

Breathtaking view over beautiful mountains and the valley below...even from your bed :) Super cozy beds in a very charming Appartement, Don't forget to observe the stars in the evening...there is almost no light pollution up there. Fantastic hot tub and a small infinity pool plus a Finish sauna with a huge window facing the mountains. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were really good and we liked the short evening walk in the woods with the provided oil lamp to get to dinner in a nearby restaurant. The host was very polite & helpful. Short drive to Tre Cime & Lago di Brais. We had a 10 year old kid along who also...

We enjoyed every second of our week-long stay in the comfortable, spectacularly-located family lodge. Our room was spacious, and well equipped to meet all our needs. The ever-changing view is unparalleled. We used the pool and spa facilities daily to recover from the day’s activities in this recreational wonderland. Dinner at the affiliated Glinzhof was wonderful, home cooking in a cozy setting with many fresh and local options for our mostly vegetarian family.
