Amazing location/view but you share a THIN wall with other guests and Italians are some of the loudest people on planet earth. 🫠 Any time any one of them talks, complains, has an idea, gets mad, gets happy, sneezes/coughs, opens or closes a door/window/closet, or moves an object (big or small) you can hear them as if they were in your own apartment. I recommend SHORT stays to preserve your peace of mind. 😠
Check in is confusing and they didn’t reply back to our messages while we were en route so we were in a bit of a panic due to the lack of instructions. 🫨
The staff seems friendly but you’re forced to check out by 0930 which is almost unheard of. 😞
They are dog friendly but they have animals wandering around to include cats, goats, and a giant (friendly) dog so keep your dog on a leash if they are reactive. 🐕 (there are also cows, chickens, and a mini-horse)
The 2 bedroom apartment includes a griddle and a mini fridge — but NO microwave. If it had a microwave it would be PERFECT because you could reheat to-go food and save money by grocery shopping at the closest grocery store. Without a microwave I wouldn’t want to stay here in the Winter months in case of a storm that prevents me from eating in town.
Seating is more limited than you’d expect for having so many beds. In the living room there is one couch and one chair. In the dining area are 2 chairs at the table and a corner booth. The TV is very small and in the dining area so you’re better off using your phone.
No rugs whatsoever so keep that in mind if you have dogs or little ones that enjoy soft floors.
WiFi is decent in the bedrooms but non existent in the living room/dining area.
There is a nice balcony but keep in mind that only a small wooden board separates you and your neighbors. But if you are ok with the noise of strangers or cigarette smoke, the view is Instagram worthy — sure to make all your friends jealous! 😂
Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is well designed so that your shower doesn’t leak like some places. Lots of radiators to keep you warm — they don’t have numbers so just tighten them to the right to turn them off (they can make the rooms really hot 🥵). But in the colder months you’ll be plenty toasty.
The location backs up to a hill with a beautiful view and there is parking on the property. It’s a small hike up and down the hill every day into town but it’s good exercise before or after a big meal. Just note that it likes to rain so keep an umbrella nearby. ☔️
Breakfast is NOT included despite it being attached to a farm, it’s an extra $17 each time you partake. If you choose to walk 20 mins (give or take) to somewhere to get breakfast you should note that it will be pastries and cold cuts — granted, the food tastes incredible in town but it’s not going to fill you up like eggs and...
Read more😊: Super friendly and helpful owners. Our kids loved the fact they could see all farm animals. Lovely private green/play area just outside the building: trampoline, slides, water pond with wooden raft. The good thing about it was that kids could go there directly from the breakfast room and parents could still see them playing while enjoying great breakfast. The breakfast room itself is a masterpiece. I can't really recall the last time we had breakfast in such beautiful and cosy, traditionally designed breakfast room, with mountain view. Breakfast itself was amazing with locally- and home-made products. Great view from the balcony. Just 10-15 mins nice walk to the town centre. And just 150 m from cycling "motorway", so if you are there for cycling it has direct connection to the vast cycling network. In general I can easily call it our one of the best stays in...
