Restaurant Wiesthaler — Restaurant in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

I normally don't write about my opinion on google. But this restaurants unfriendly staff left an impression, which I couldnt forget the last days. I had some lamb, it was decorated nicely and tasted good. But for 28 euros i would have expected more meat. They had like 5 service person and not a lot of work, we got to know three of them. None of them was friendly. One of them brought the food without saying anything. At the end, one woman with approximately 50 years, wanted to start an argument, because I asked her about the price. She really tried to provocate a fight, so I had to deescalate by telling her it was just a question and I didnt mean to bother her. I dont understand this behaviour. In the service your job is, to serve people and make them have an enjoyable time. Especially in a high classed restaurant as Wiesthaler. If you don't like people, please work somewhere else, so you dont make life hard for...

It seemed like a nice place with a nice garden where we got a table. Three of us ordered lamp chops and one of us ordered fish. In the menu it is written that it is with oven baked potatoes and vegetables. But first question was if we wanted potatoes or vegetables, so not what it says in the menu and what I have seen others have gotten afterwards. When we said potatoes, we was asked if we wanted fries or oven baked. Perhaps this is a result of many asking for fries, but in my opinion, when it says oven baked we should not be asked if we did not ask for anything else. When we got the food, we got one fish as ordered, but then three Wienerschnitzel, not lamb chops. They quickly removed it and we got the lamp chops after some time. Io e un gruppo di amici, tutti fortemente legati alla cittadina di San Candido, quest'anno abbiamo deciso di trascorrere in questo locale il nostro abituale pranzo del primo dell'anno. Decisione questa piuttosto inusuale, poiché tendiamo spesso ad evitare i locali del centro in quanto invasi da turisti. Dopo una simile esperienza, però, non saranno soltanto i turisti a tenerci lontani da questo ristorante. Nonostante il luogo goda di una posizione ottima (in pieno centro a San Candido) e di una lunga storia consolidata, le nostre aspettative sono presto state infrante dai modi scortesi che fin dal principio ci sono stati propinati dal personale del ristorante. Alla semplice domanda di se vi fosse del glutine in un piatto espresso da una ragazza con problemi di celiachia, la cameriera che prendeva gli ordini ha risposto con aria evidentemente scocciata e con largo pressapochismo. Lo stesso pressapochismo ci è stato propinato una volta giunte le prime portate, quando il piatto frutto del precedente quesito è stato presentato con una guarnizione di pan grattato, tristemente spacciato per "spezie" o, a detta della cameriera, di "nulla che possa far male". Ottenerne il cambio con un altra portata senza glutine è stato difficile, anche per la nota lentezza del personale a servire i piatti, nonché permeato della stessa maleducazione di chi pretende di insegnare agli uccelli a volare. Infine, nonostante avessimo ordinato anche dei secondi fin dal principio, la stessa cameriera che aveva preso gli ordini sosteneva che non solo non ne avessimo ordinati alcuni (a suo parere "ordinati solo fra di noi"), ma che persino quelli che avremmo voluto ordinare non fossero più disponibili perché "era troppo tardi e a quest'ora non li facciamo più" (questo perché, dopo aver ordinato alle 13.40, i primi sono stati serviti alle 14.30). In virtù di quanto accaduto, nonostante il cibo fosse comunque buono, sconsiglio chiunque ad entrare in un locale come questo in cui il personale è evidentemente sgarbato e privo di alcuna...
