Garni - Hotel Am Burghügel — Hotel in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

Perfectly situated as a base to visit many National parks (Die Drei Zinnen etc.) and right at the Dolomites, this hotel was an amazing find! Boutique hotel, good rates, very new, modern wood mountain resort feel. Gorgeous views, directly at the mountain base and likely the hotel with the best views in Innichen/San Candido. ||Large balcony, we were given probably the best room, corner west side, 3rd floor. ||The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Fruit salad, quality juice, well made coffee & lots of options of food. The hotel is family run, and has a lovely personable feel. Room is better than depicted in the photos. We liked it so much we wanted to come back!! Only issue was the internet, we had to keep logging in each time. But anyhow, we were there to hike, not for the internet. ||Please note, there was also a few parking spots available for guests and the town itself is one of the most beautiful on this stretch. I left 3 silver rings in the room and tried to contact the place multiple times and they ignored me. I tried contacting every day, on the third they they finally answered the phone and said they didn’t find anything. The place doesn’t have elevator so if you have heavy luggage, good lucky carrying it upstairs. The owner decided to fix the fence on the same day of our stay. We tried to relax but couldn’t because of the laud noise of the saw during the entire day. The place isn’t cheap to rent and having these issues do not make...
