Holiday Home Morin 10 — Hotel in Rome

The location, the service, front desk, the room was good. I believe overall was great. They have a great patio.

But one thing I was upset about as I was talking to my gf on facetime a lady across yelled at me in Italy in the patio saying I was too loud. At first I didn't say anything because I didn't understand her.

So I kept talking to my gf during facetime quietly. According to this lady, upstairs by window, read the sign. The sign says be respectful of your neighbors. 9pm-8am and from 1-4pm.

Who does this? Why have a patio? You expect to have customers enjoy this patio. If you think that's being disrespectful take out the patio set. Hope you take the patio set out. No point of it

Maybe the lady lives in this building but you can't expect someone to speak on the phone so quiet. Don't have a patio if you are going to be annoyed with customers. I'm sure, im not the only one. But think. I wouldve gave this a perfect 5/5 but for that lady that yelled at me ruined it.

From the moment we arrived we felt extremely comfortable and welcome, Mateo was very helpful when checking us in. He gave us a lot of information about local restaurants, monuments and much more. He also gave us a map with directions and details on which became very useful during our stay. We were in apartment 10, the apartment itself is very spacious, set out perfectly and very clean. It is beautifully decorated, very modern and super comfortable. The setting of Morin 10 made me feel extremely safe, there is a huge wooden door/gate on entrance and another gate after which you need your card to access. The apartment is surrounded by delicious restaurants and is very close to Vatican City. From Morin 10 it is about 55 minutes to the Colosseum (walking) we preferred to walk as we discovered more restaurants and beautiful sights. Our stay within Morin 10 was just as amazing as the city itself, I would definitely recommend to anyone and 100% would stay again if...

Avevo purtroppo prenotato il mio soggiorno a Roma in questo disgraziato residence e, se non l’aveste già intuito, è stata la scelta peggiore della mia vita (e non sto scherzando, ma ora vi dico di più). Partiamo dalla cosa più assurda: al momento della prenotazione (avvenuta per via telefonica), il titolare aveva vantato una ristrutturazione effettuata nel 2024 TOTALE… HAHAHAHAHA. Mi viene da ridere, perché se questa è stata la ristrutturazione splendida e maestosa che decantava, allora non oso immaginare come potesse essere ancora più schifosa e sudicia fino all’anno scorso. Sì esatto, sudicio: perché anche adesso la struttura è molto fatiscente… ma non mi riferisco solo alle camere o alla reception, ma incredibilmente anche al target delle persone che hanno scelto di alloggiare nel mio stesso periodo in questo residence, tanto che mia moglie aveva paura (e non sto scherzando) che ci potessero anche rapinare.

Fatta questa breve premessa (e spero che già da queste primissime parole vi abbia convinto ad evitare come la peste questo residence), voglio iniziare dalla reception (se così si può definire): se siete infatti abituati alle grandi e lucide reception dei tipici hotel, questa è totalmente l’opposto. Squallida, anonima, piccola e con personale ahimè totalmente inesperto e clamorosamente poco attento a delle banalissime richieste che gli vengono poste. Passiamo ora alla nota dolente di questo residence: la camera. MAMMA MIA CHE SHOCK! Aria condizionata spenta, caldo fuori dal comune e aria molto pesante. Pavimento che era talmente sporco da fare concorrenza ai bagni di un autogrill…. E attenzione proprio al bagno AHAHAHAHA: formiche ovunque (anche sul cerchione del WC e sul bidet); doccia sporca ed estremamente piccola; rubinetteria macchiata e….. (rullo di tamburi) gabinetto sporco di cacca! Devo solo ringraziare il mio cervello che in quel momento era come se fosse sotto effetto di droghe pesanti a causa dello shock per non aver vomitato. Concludiamo poi con un cucinino presente nella stanza anch’esso estremamente sporco e con evidenti segni di usura (recentissimi), e un vano vuoto (vai a capire a cosa potesse servire) che all’apertura presentava umidità e muffa… probabilmente a causa delle tante infiltrazioni che ci sono state negli anni (ma non avevano detto che era stata eseguita una ristrutturazione recentissima? Che si sono dimenticati di chiamare il pittore forse?).

Ovviamente, come potete facilmente immaginare, siamo scappati a gambe levate (perché quale folle, oltre a quelli già presenti nel residence, poteva soggiornare in una discarica simile?). Insomma, se siete arrivati fino a qui, capirete che ve lo...
