I recently had the pleasure of dining at Al Giardino del Gatto e la Volpe, and I can honestly say it was one of the most wonderful culinary experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home.

The food was absolutely fantastic — beautifully prepared, flavorful, and presented with care. Each dish reflected the chef’s passion and dedication to authentic cuisine, making every bite a delight.

We went to this restaurant because we read about it on the internet. A lot of people gave it a good score. We definitely experienced the same. It was not difficult to find. We did not make a reservation but we came early (19:30). It waa just open. We got a table for two. It was still quiet. I ordered the first course with mossels. It was a lot and they were the best mossels I had ever had in my life. The I ordered The four cheese gnoocchi It was splendid. People were definitely right. My husband had Risotto with scampis. He loved it too. The dessert was lava cake. It was just delicious. The waiter was very very friendly. While we were sitting there it became crowded and crowded with Italian people but the service remained good. The conclusion: it was one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. If we ever comeback to Rome, we will definitely come here again. P.S. do not forget to carry some cash with you for the tips. They can not add it to your bill if you pay with cards. About a 5 minute walk from Vatican City in a quieter neighborhood, Al Giardino Del Gatto E La Volpe provided an amazing experience comprised of a warm atmosphere, fantastic service, and delicious food.

We had a late meal in the middle of the week and were seated in the interior courtyard area, which is adequately lined with fans to help with the heat.

We loved the mussels and the mushroom pasta, along with a full bottle of their house wine. The lamb chops came out fried, which was also a pleasant surprise. The tiramisu was also delicious!

During our visit, we asked about the name of the place and received a full tour of the illustrations that reside throughout the restaurant too!
