During my recent visit to Rome, I had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Torino. While the hotel's central location was convenient, I must admit that my experience with the room itself left much to be desired. As a Level 4 Google contributor, it is my duty to provide an honest and detailed review to help fellow travelers make informed decisions.
First and foremost, I found the room at Hotel Torino to be disappointingly lackluster. The style and décor of the room felt outdated and in need of a much-needed refresh. The furniture appeared worn and tired, and the color scheme seemed stuck in a bygone era. It was a far cry from the modern and sleek designs that many travelers have come to expect from contemporary hotels.
Furthermore, the amenities provided in the room were subpar. The television was small and outdated, lacking the crispness and variety of channels that are now standard in most hotels. The bed, while reasonably comfortable, was not of the highest quality. The linens and pillows were also lackluster, failing to provide the level of comfort and luxury that one would hope for during their stay.
In terms of cleanliness, the room fell short of my expectations as well. While it was generally tidy, I noticed several areas that were neglected during the cleaning process. Dust had accumulated in corners, and there were signs of wear and tear in the bathroom fixtures. It gave off a sense that attention to detail was lacking, which is disappointing for a hotel aiming to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Despite these drawbacks, I will acknowledge that the staff at Hotel Torino were courteous and helpful. They were prompt in addressing any concerns or inquiries I had during my stay. Additionally, the hotel's location was indeed convenient, allowing for easy access to many of Rome's popular attractions and transportation options. However, it is essential to consider these positives within the context of the room experience itself.
In conclusion, while Hotel Torino in Rome may have some redeeming qualities, I must emphasize that the room itself was underwhelming. The outdated style, lackluster amenities, and cleanliness issues detracted from the overall experience. As a Level 10 Google contributor, I would encourage travelers to explore alternative options in Rome that offer more modern accommodations and a higher...
Read moreUsually when I try to stay at some places, my first action is to read the reviews. I was hesitant to stay here after reading all the negative reviews but decided I should be fair and give it a try and boy, was I glad I didn’t let the reviews affect me.
First of all I wanna clarify that those negative reviews expect to pay a 2 star price for a 5 star stay. At the rate Torino is charging, u can find worse hotels. The main reason I choose here was it is extremely close to the Roma Termini which is convenient for me to go to the airport on my departure day.
I booked for 2 nights here and the check in was a breeze, although I have to agree with the naysayers that the receptionist was rude. But I was more concerned with the room rather with the receptionist which I don’t sleep with 😂😂😂.
I was given a room on the 6th floor, a floor below the breakfast hall. The room is clean, toilet sparkling clean, bed were comfy, many channels on the TV and a small fridge with beverages. Only drawback is there’s no kettle.
Carrefour Express and plenty of restaurants nearby. Even a mini market just around the corner.
Wi-Fi and aircond is available and even though the room is facing the main road, there’s hardly any noise disturbances when the windows are closed.
Overall I rate this hotel better than the others that I hv stayed in Italy. I tried extending the stay but they were all fully booked. I strongly recommend this place but of course for the price you are paying, don’t expect a 5...
