Good location, very helpful friendly Manager. The room was bright, well maintained and only renovated a couple of years ago. Breakfast was a 'help yourself' affair. Would definately recomend this place. Got a bit lost at first finding it

Sehr schlechte Unterkunft!

Temple View is centrally located. it is literally on the Largo di Torre Argentina. I stayed at this property for 10 nights in late March 2025.. The view out of my window was facing the Largo di Torre. The hotel is next to a taxi stand, bus stops, and bike/scooter sharing services (i.e., Dott and LIME). This property is NOT near a metro stop. I found some great places to eat around the Largo di Torre Argentina such as Enoteca Corsi, Grano Trattoria, Pizza Florida, and Come 'na Vorta (which has multiple locations surrounding Largo di Torre Argentina - Try their steak and potatoes). There is a pharmacy and grocery store mere steps away from the hotel. The entrance of the hotel can be difficult to find as the sign is small. It is located behind the building. Once checked in you will receive 3 keys: one for the building door, one for the door for the floor, and one for your room. There is an elevator in the building. Rooms can face the back alley or towards the ruins. You can hear guests in other rooms occasionally. Rooms are located only on Floors 1 and 4 (USA Floors 2 and 5). My room, facing the ruins, had plenty of natural light and two large windows. This caused the room to be noisy when the windows were open, but I like being in a busy area like that. The two large windows made privacy an issue. You had to remember to close the windows when you went to the bathroom. People can see you changing or sitting on the toilet. For me, I did not mind it as I loved the view. The room was clean. A hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were available for use. There is also a room-only heater/air conditioner. The pillows were a little flat and provided poor neck support, but they were adequate. The bed felt like it was made of memory foam; it was comfortable enough. There was a dresser within the room that functioned as a desk while I was there. There were two end tables next to the bed that were helpful for my phone. Two lamps were provided and a switch to the main room light was next to the bed, a helpful feature. The shower pressure was strong and relaxing. The water was more than hot enough. The shower contained a rain shower head, a shower arm, and body jets. The size of the bathroom was adequate for this 6'3, 260 lb guy. The TV was excellent as it allowed you to enter your subscription information for many streaming services such as Prime, Disney, Netflix, and YouTube. Now, the hotel also provides free bottled water (both flat and carbonated) in the refrigerator that you have 24-hour access to. It also contains yogurt, milk, cold cuts, and cheese for charcuterie. They provided crackers, coffee, tea, pastries, and some fresh fruit. Grabbing a cold bottle water before heading out into the city was such a benefit! The staff are attentive to your needs and address your concerns right away. I requested the Lilac Room but was initially given another room. When I repeated the request, the front desk clerk, Roton apologized but promised the issue would be resolved the next day. It was. Roton moved all my things from the old room to the Lilac Room. I came back from a tour with everything settled. Now, when you check in, a request to pay the city tax (5 euro per night, per person) will be made. Please note that this must be paid in bills. So have your euros ready upon arrival. Checkout was seamless as I just left my keys behind and sent a text to Roton at the airport. It should be noted that this is more of a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. The staff are in the hotel from like 1000 to 1600. The times are not super consistent, but the truth is they really aren't needed. If you are looking for a true hotel experience with room service and a spa, then this is NOT the place for you. If you want a hotel that is centrally located at a good price, this is the place for you! Thank you, Roton! I appreciate your...

As always, I will preface by saying I am very picky with hotels and have, as the saying goes, champagne tastes on a beer budget! ||This is a great moderately-priced choice among Rome hotels which are suddenly so expensive. It was also the only one of my short list that included breakfast which is always appreciated for convenience. It is in an excellent location - bars, restaurants, and taxi stand within a block, 10 minutes to Campo de Fiori/ Pantheon, 20 minutes or so to the Colosseum. Of the major sites only the Vatican is a bit far but my husband did walk it in about half an hour. ||This is not a 24/7 manned hotel so you do have to let management know what time you plan to arrive. But whenever we did see the 2 men working in reception, they were super friendly and eager to please. The breakfast room, however, IS 24/7 meaning we always had access to water, coffee, cakes, yogurt, etc. Loved this - so nice to not have to worry about buying water (though of course in Rome you can also get it from the many public fountains).||There is a very small elevator in the building so if you are a large group or have lots of stuff, you will need to make multiple trips. I think there are only 5 or 6 rooms in the whole place, each named after a color. My husband, son, & I were in the blue room - my parents were in the red room. The red room is outside the hotel's main door (as if it were an apartment in the building) but faces inwards so it is quieter. The blue room faces the street so sometimes we did hear street noise, but with the windows closed, it really did not bother us. The rooms and bathrooms are small but having traveled extensively in Europe, I have certainly seen smaller. The bathrooms are very modern with fancy showers (jets/ rain/ handheld). ||If you are looking for a traditional hotel with reception desk, room service, etc., this is not the place for you. But if you want something minimalist, clean, and well-located, this fits the bill. I would not hesitate to stay...

The hotel gets rave reviews. I'm not that enthusiastic though it is certainly a reasonable place to stay. (My wife was more enthusiastic than me.) || The location is central, which is good, though I'd prefer to be several blocks farther west. The hotel is clean and the room is bright and cheery with a big window and very high ceilings. Furniture is Ikea white or something similar. Bathroom is fine, though the fancy shower mentioned in other reviews is meant for a much larger enclosure, making taking showers a bit awkward. Views were quite nice from our room, 1 of 3 that face the temple. Temple views are terrific and the open space it creates gives you a larger scale view of a bit of the city. ||The hotel entrance is hard to find. Up an alley and marked only by a small plaque on the wall (see photos). Initially having rung the bell, or with a key once you are checked in, you go into a dingy building and up to the 5th floor in a tiny, antique but perfectly serviceable elevator to the nicely renovated area of the "relais."||Kitchen is available all the time which is nice. Breakfast is mostly of packaged items with a good coffee maker, but no cappuccino. You'd do much better at the pastry shop (Caffe Camerino) a block away.||The family that manages the hotel is quite nice and extremely accommodating. They do their very best to make sure guests have a good stay. However there is only someone on the property in the morning from 8am, staying into the afternoon. No one is there at all at night. ||Certainly a reasonable place to stay and the price seems good for this location. There are lots of restaurants within a few blocks lots of busses go by, and a taxi stand is a...
