B&B Catullo — Hotel in Sirmione

B&B Catullo is a lovely guesthouse, great value for money. The owners are very welcoming and sweet and provided the best coffee we had while in Italy. Breakfast is very good, croissants, meat, cheese, yoghurt and juice amongst other things. The owner gave us good tourist information despite the language barrier, we got very good at sign language and pointing! Bed was very comfortable, shutters on the windows to drown out any light or noise and a clean bathroom with a good shower. The B&B is located a little out of the main town but the path round the lake is close by and there’s also a vineyard (Ca Fratti) a walkable distance away that had great wine for a good price. Plenty of restaurants nearby also. Make sure you make clear you’re going to B&B Catullo and not Hotel Catullo to a taxi driver as we had a mix up on our journey there. We stayed one night at B&B Catullo and we had a great time. It is owned by an older Italian couple who only speaks Italian, but communication was not a problem. ||I must say that it was VERY clean and our room had an own bathroom, AC, a huge balcony and a very comfortable bed. ||The breakfast was typical Italian with great coffee, fresh buns, coissants, ham, cheese, jams, honey, jogurt, juices etc. Everything tasted wonderful!||The beach is just down the street which was perfect. The best thing is that you can use their bikes for free! We went at noon and then later at night by bike to Sirmione center. It took us about 15-20 min and we enjoyed the ride so much!||I can highly...
