Hotel Belvedere — Hotel in Sirmione

We have not long returned from a stay here and we loved it, so much so, we extended our stay. Beautiful family run hotel, we were offered a welcome drink on arrival, nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was plentiful. The whole family were so lovely.We stayed in the suite which was adorable and spotlessly clean, we had a bowl of fresh fruit daily which was a lovely touch. The location is excellent with beautiful views, right on the lake. Parking is in the car park immediately in front of the hotel and you are given a pass for free parking. There are restaurants, shops, ice cream parlour extremely close by. You can rent a sunbed and parasol almost next door for €5 each for half a day and €8 for the whole day or can sunbathe on a grassed area on the lake free of charge. You can hire a boat which is great fun. The centre of Sirmione with the castle, restaurants, shops, Jamaica beach and copious amounts of icecream parlours is approx 15 mins (easy walk) away or there is a shuttle bus which does a full circle and runs till late at night. We loved everything about it all and would not hesitate to recommend Belvedere...

Second time at this hotel this year. The Hotel Belvedere is well positioned in the city and for the price we think it is excellent value.||Standard rooms are comfortable clean with nice bathroom and may have a balcony. A great bonus is that there is a pool and sauna on the top floor. We found at breakfast there is something for everyone and the garden room and restaurant used for breakfast is nice and relaxing. Staff are very friendly and accommodating from the front of desk right through to the friendly ladies on maid service. Some people expect too much from what is rated as a 4 star hotel and must take I to account what they are actually having to pay.||Over all I would recommend the Belvedere as excellent...
