Hotel Clodia — Hotel in Sirmione

Unfortunately I staid at this hotel only for 1 night, but it was special night, because I arrived there as a bride and prepared myself for a next day wedding there.||Firstly I must say that the Hotel is situated very close to porto Galeazzi (200 m) from where you may take a boat trip over the beautiful lake Garda.||||Though it's close to the main road leading to old town, Clodia is located at dead-end street, bordering with green lawn and surrounded by wonderful green garden, with blossoming hydrangeas. ||||If you like rooms decoration, shown on their web-site, you may totally rely on these photos, because even orchids decorating the rooms are real and beautiful. ||The whole hotel is decorated in a very stylish manner. They also has gorgeous sun terrace on the 1st floor, just above the reception.||||The staff in Clodia is supper sweet)) and the coffee is super tasty)||We were going to set photo and video shooting of the morning of bride and it was supposed to be meeting of bride and groom with serenade. Cute lady from reception(I'm so sorry not remembering your name, but all the ladies there were cute)) organized access on the balcony for me, to watch the serenade of my fiance from there "like Giuliette" ||She even brought the roses and put nice ribbon decoration on that balcony!||||It was perfect choice of the venue for wedding morning! when you have spent quite some time in the heat and bustle of Italy in July, the Hotel Clodia is a peaceful and much welcome haven ! we were welcomed by a smiling and very helpful lady - Paola (apologies if we have spelt your name wrong - but you are the pretty dark-haired lady on reception during the afternoon and evening) and shown to our room - a cool and peaceful garden room at the rear of the hotel. The room was large, modern and very clean with French doors leading out to the quiet garden with chairs and table for our comfort and overlooking a park and mountains to one side and the rear of small properties to the other. Parking is just outside the hotel which is situated just off the main road into Sirmione itself and few minutes walk to the lake itself. Enjoyed breakfast (plenty of choice and always fresh) on their cool outside terrace. Some very good restaurants close by and also approx. 30 minute walk into the main tourist areas of Sirmione. Would highly recommend this wonderful hotel and its staff. We stayed for a full week and did not want...
