I must say first that the price was very low, so we decided to stay over at this place in Pompeii rather than carry on our travels to Rome. The photos looked pretty good and location seemed quite convenient.

However, we soon realised that a visit to Pompeii Ruins was definitely a 'day-trip' destination and that everyone left as soon as the ruins were closing, so we wouldn't recommend staying over in this area of Pompeii right by the ruins - everything closes at 7pm in the main area and we didn't feel too safe walking around either as it was so so quiet.

We arrived around 2pm (ish), and the check-in was perfectly pleasant, however we soon realised that the air conditioning had mould around it and hardly any water at all would come out of the showering, so getting washed that evening took a very long time.

Once we arrived back and started getting ready for bed, we consistently heard voices in the corridor and people were walking up and down that hallway all night (it never stopped all the way until the morning).

When we went to check out in the morning, we asked about a taxi to the train station - the guy offered to take us to the station for 20 euros, even though it'd only be a 5 minute walk. We declined, he insisted and we said no again. Felt very pushy and as soon as we said no, he didn't seem to care anymore.

We walked down the stairs and out the front and then he walked out in front of us from the drive with his car keys saying (come on, I'll take you, 20 euros) - we said again "No we're fine, we'll walk" and he eventually let us go.

If you did need to stay in this area in particular, we would recommend looking somewhere else, but overall, it doesn't feel like an area tourists necessarily need to stay in because you can get day trips and excursions to Pompeii Ruins rather...

By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The first room they showed us had a horrible musty smell and a huge patch of black mold in the bathroom ceiling. When we showed reception they didn't seem too bothered by the state of the room whatsoever. They then showed us a second room which had a similar smell and patch of mold in the cieling. We settled for the third room but after they left we found many dead bugs in bathroom by the sink with some live ones still crawling around by the basin. The toilet seat was also broken and smaller things such as all the chrome on the taps and shower weren't cleaned. Seeing that they missed very simple things like these, I would not put it passed them to have bead bug infestations in their very old bed furniture. When we told reception and management that we would not be staying because of the terrible quality of their rooms they refused to refund us saying that the upkeep of their hotel is not their responsibility and it's just too bad we didn't like it. I could not believe how rude they were and how poorly they keep the place. If the photos look alright please do not believe them because they are in no way recent or representative of...

We stayed for 2 nights in May... the rooms are clean if a little dated .. bathroom clean shower rather small but I've noticed this in the last couple of hotels .Bed was comfortable and we slept well bed linen and towels spotlessly clean . Our room no3 only had a very small window but it wasn't a problem for us .. some rooms have a balcony. The staff were helpful spoke a little English but we managed to understand each other there are no tea making facilities in the room (finding a kettle in your room in Italy is a massive bonus I'd pack a travel kettle) but we could use the kettle near reception there is a coffe vending machine and a drink and snack machine also relatively cheap . This hotel is perfect for the Pompeii ruins which are about 15 mins walk there are restaurants and bars within walking distance there is mc Donald's nearby and a supermarket. Becareful of the road outside the hotel there is no footpath but that's no fault of the hotel . They have parking and a pleasant courtyard to sit in .we payed 40 euros a night and it was value for money basic maybe but clean comfortable...

Very pleasantly surprised on arrival. Only a budget hotel, but everything you needed. Clean and comfortable bed with private shower room, and air conditioning. Hair dryer in room, and clean towels. The staff we met couldn't have been more helpful, even though English was not spoken. We used Google Translate. Nice outside seating area, and we bought our own food, as there are no catering facilities other than vending machines. They do not provide breakfast. Approx 20 minutes walk to both the train station, where you can get to Sorrento in 45 mins, and Pompeii ruins. The immediate area is very industrial and not touristy, but as a family group of 8, we bought wine and had lovely evenings in the little garden. Really good value for money and we all enjoyed our three night stay.

There was damp all round the windows and the air conditioning the nets were damp and very dirty. The sink I the bathroom came away from the wall every time you used it. In the evening the heating was turned off the room got extremely cold very fast. Breakfast was a joke.... one croissant each with a glass of water we asked for an orange juice was told they don't do it. We asked them to book us a taxi was told to ring ourselves but the taxi company did not understand and hung up on us took ages to convince the hotel staff to call taxi for us. We will not be staying there again.
