First of all, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast and dinner foods offered at the buffet is plentiful and delicious. The onsen has a nice atmosphere and there are many activities available in the facility. The view is beautiful, and the futons were comfortable (though we have no prior experiences to compare it to).||However, the room was sadly lackluster. We paid almost $400AUD and got a room that was quite old. My partner has a tattoo and thus was not able to enter the onsens, but we were assured that there are bathtubs in our room. We were excited, only to find a very old, brown tile stained "bathtub" next to the shower which still had some soap residue on the faucet. We came here because of the Japanese TV series. The recommendation before was good or bad n tripadvisor. However, after renovation it was renewed with some special rooms of nice seaview. We stayed on the 10th floor with stunning seaview. But there was no bath tub. If u want bath tub please book room with mixed style or Japanese style. The public onsen was large and with nice view. The open bath was not large but good. The dinner and breakfast were self served. There was plenty seafood and nice sashimi. The hotel was also equipped with table tennis facilities and game machines.
