別府温泉 リゾートステイ SPA TSURUMI — Hotel in Beppu

Location is a 30min bus ride from the city centre. There is a Family Mart conbini within a 10min walk. The location is convenient for driving to the Seven Hells of Beppu.

Check-in is done via a tablet located in a small corridor.

The room was comfortable and warm. Not enough outlets though.

The room and bathroom were clean. The washlet in the bathroom wasn't working properly because the control panel battery was dead. We contacted the hotel and they replaced it the next day. They also dropped off fresh towels and amenities.

Our room had a stove top, but no pots or pans to cook with.

There is a common area with tables, microwave, vending machines, two massage chairs, and laundry machines (coin-op). There are spoons, bowls, forks, and chopsticks.

There are open air baths (no pics allowed).

Parking is available immediately next to the entrance of each unit. From the ground floor, access is via a steep flight of stairs. Not great if you've got big luggage.

Interesting place. It's next door to a Jurassic Park themed...

staff sent us a website link for online check in, however the link was hidden by agoda due to security reasons, and i think it is unacceptable for the hotel not knowing this, and the message was only in Japanese, the translation from agoda is not accurate, as a result, we faced severe trouble during check in, there was no front desk staff, and a local phone number must be needed to contact the staff, which we as tourists do not have one, after 1 hours of trying we were finally able to check in and got our room number and password, and then we found that the parking space underneath our room was occupied by someone car, lol, the whole check in experience was...

フロントは無人でもOK&車がある人おすすめの宿。

予約して、メールが届くのですが。。。 顔写真を登録する必要があります。経営者が日本人なのか等、個人情報を守られるのか？などに不安を感じて。 あ、嫌だ。と思ったのですがキャンセル100%だったので諦めて、登録しました。するしかないです。

お部屋に入ってみると、清潔感がありお風呂もトイレもおしゃれで広くて良いホテルでした。 ただ、洗面所の排水が怪しく、毎回コポコポと音が出ていたので詰まりそうな気がします。違ったらすみません。

掛け流し温泉とのことで楽しみに、屋上までエレベーターと階段を使って登りました。足が不自由な人はアクセスが難しいと思います。

手前が女、奥が男で鍵がかからないドアです。 コード付きのロックを導入すべきです。 貴重品は絶対、部屋に置いてください。

女の人は、いきなり男性が入ってきても、守る術がなく裸をすぐ見られます。 閉まりが緩いのか？閉めて、目を離した時に自然に少しだけ空いててビックリしました。 脱衣所は狭く2人くらいが着脱できるかな？という広さです。そして、また階段を上がって浴室に入ります。 シャワーが3つか4つ？ありました。 排水溝の掃除はおそらく、チェックアウト後なのでしょう。朝風呂の時は髪の毛だらけになります。

奥に、露天風呂があります。 絶景が最高です。ただ、温泉は源泉掛け流しなのでしょうが薄く感じました。 1月でしたが。時期的なものもあると思いますが？こんなもんか。。。という感想です。 別府温泉の源泉掛け流しは、有名な温泉に行ってみるとツルツルになるのでそちらをおすすめします！！

一つ気になったのですが、脱衣所のミラーに手を当ててみてください。指がぺったりくっつくのです。マジックミラーなのか？鏡ではないので不信感が少し残りました。

部屋には、ポット、コップ2つ。 アメニティはそろっており、パジャマもあったので困ることなく宿泊できました。
