碧の時間 — Restaurant in Beppu

Great Italian restaurant in a residential area. Friendly staff. I had the Quattro Formaggi and Margherita half & half. Great combo. Was so good that I bought another takeaway for my train ride to Kitakyushu.

Also had a blue herbal tea. Not my favourite, but I don't like herbal teas in general. I didn't know what it was, so I was too adventurous for my own good. If you like herbal tea, this might be to your taste.

Tiramisu looked good, but seemed a bit weak in flavour. If you like strong-flavoures tiramisu, give this one a miss.

Wow! Very nice experience all around. The food was very good, everything was order via an ipad at the table. Pizza was brought out in under 15min after ordering, pasta followed after another 20 or so. The waiter was very accommodating and spoke extremely good English. We got the set meals so all in all we ended up about 4500 yen out of pocket so not cheap, but well worth the quality of food, service,...

Got teary eyed whilst eating here and watching the fog move along the sea. Have been in Japan about 1 week travelling and wanted something a bit different to eat. The half mushroom, half cheese pizza was just incredible. With a cold glass of ice blue tea. We really don't deserve the wonderful service, kindness and attention to detail and quality which is displayed in Japan. May God bless...
