Beppu Daiiti Hotel — Hotel in Beppu

We spent two nights here and the hotel is located near Beppu JR station, almost everything is within walking distance. We drove to the hotel and they offered discounted parking at the hotel or at the parkade just across. The staff can assist us in English as well. The room was clean and the amenities were also provided. Others might feel the room is small but we can still lay out our medium luggages on the floor. So honestly, it’s quite enough. We appreciate the kettle in the room and it is the style that we love!

The room is new and clean, the service is good, and the space is large enough for a business hotel. Although the hotel has installed soundproof windows, the sound of the tram passing by can also be heard. Travelers who want to get up later should pay attention because the tram leaves very early. In addition, the sound insulation of the walls of the room is very poor, the conversation next door can be heard at night. The opening position of the bathroom door is very strange. When it is pushed open, the door opens to the end of the room. Shouldn't it be open to the entrance? The location is great since this hotel is just near by Beppu station, but it means it's too close to the railway that you might hear the train noise during days and nights. However, it sounds acceptable for most of people.

Service here is great, free parking here is always true even though the parking lot is full. They also provide the service that you could park you car at a charged parking lot in front of hotel, and refund the fee back from hotel by the receipt after you left it.

Rooms are definitely small just like most of Japanese hotels. But it's clean and cozy, if you are taller than 180 cm, this hotel might be not suitable to you since the bathroom...
