I chanced upon this BBQ restaurant through Google review as the rating was super high at 4.8 though the number of reviews was relative small at only 90 for an accurate sample size. Hence, I came with a managed expectation just so that I will not be disappointed.

To my surprise, the sample size of 90 reviews may be small but I must say a 4.8 stars rating is totally accurate. The meat was totally on point and they are one of the best that I have ever tried. I love the sauce and condiments accompanying the meat.

This is really a cosy and nice restaurant if you are looking for one of the best BBQ at walking distance from Beppu station.

The quality of the food was insanely good here, especially the Japanese beef.

The place is not extremely large, but they have a number of tables that can accommodate four people each.

The main young lady working here spoke fluent Japanese and English, and was very accommodating to foreign visitors.

They have free parking at a place just half a block away. Just ask the hostess and she will give you the location and a voucher.

It is not an inexpensive place, so if you are poor, do not go here.

But if you have a tiny amount of money, then it is completely worth whatever money you spend here for the quality. It is delicious.

Had trouble finding a spot to eat for my night in Beppu. It seems most places require reservations although the city is kinda dead. Was able to come here as a walk in.
