SUPERHOTEL BEPPU EKIMAE — Hotel in Beppu

There’s a lot to like about this hotel…..|- It’s very close to the train/bus station|- It’s very clean and well organised|- The staff are lovely|- It’s well priced|- Breakfast is decent|- They have free soft drinks all day and free alcoholic drinks from 6-9pm|- There’s a treatments bar from which you can choose 5 items each day (nice touch)||A couple of grumbles:|- I have a tattoo and was told I couldn’t use the onsen|- The room was tiny. It was a triple too but it felt cramped with just me and a small bag in it. No idea how 3 people would manage!|- The bath was so small - just about big enough to wash your dog in|- The world’s most uncomfortable pillows. Seriously….they’re like stones. I ditched them and used the single bed duvet instead. I read after I checked out that they offer other pillows but there was no mention of it anywhere...

Fantastic service from super hotel. Location is very convenient around five minutes walk from Beppu station. Lobby is located on level two so you will need to take a lift. However the service is amazing. There are welcome drinks when you arrive. I believe there’s alcoholic drinks as well during a certain period as well between 6-9pm. You’re also able to select your Pillow according to its hardness or preferences and you can choose up to 5 amenity items these include facial mask, vitamin C serums to shavers etc. Because it is Beppu there is Also hot spring. however I would probably have liked to have it a bit bigger pool and to have an outdoor spa. All in all it was much value for money and I would go...
