Beppu Yuya — Hotel in Beppu

The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable starting when we pulled into the driveway--they were waiting with smiles and parked our car as we got checked in. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The food was magnificent - they knew we were vegetarian and prepared 9 course vegan meals for dinner and breakfast. The private onsen is exactly what we needed to relax - we could get in any time and did not have to think about driving to an onsen, paying extra, packing a bag, etc. It was great. The hotel is very private but only three minutes off the expressway. Five minutes farther down the road is the ropeway going up Mt. Tsurumi and it only takes about 15 min to get into downtown Beppu. So this place is not worth the money staff was unfriendly and on the website I paid for dinner when we got there they said I didint I showed him where it says I have dinner included and he said it's not his problem we also had to leave at 7 am and breakfast was at 730 so the night before I asked if we could eat early or if they could make it to go he gave me a mean look and said no after he knew we where not eating dinner and we would be super hungry I also paid 25 dollers watch for the breakfast and he would not refund it also saw 3 cockroaches in our room witch didint that bad cuz it's in the country but still also 1 if the snacks had mold on it 1/10 save your money stay...
