We stayed here for two nights, and it was absolutely the right decision to choose this place in Kawaguchiko. The accommodation is a traditional Japanese house, and Mr. Hiroki, the owner, is one of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered everything was thoughtfully prepared.
We loved it so much! The house is conveniently located near Fuji Station, making it easy to get around. What I appreciated most about this location is how peaceful and quiet it is, yet still very convenient. There are many spots within walking distance of the hotel, but we decided to rent bikes directly from the property, which turned out to be cheaper than renting elsewhere. With the bikes, exploring the area was a breeze it’s all just around the corner!
As for the room, it was fantastic. Even though the bathroom is shared, everything was spotless and well-maintained. They provided the fluffiest, most comfortable blankets, and the amenities in the bathroom smelled amazing. I was lucky enough to find some of those products at Fuji Station to take back to Tokyo!
Another highlight was the breakfast. We booked it in advance, and Mr. Hiroki himself cooked for us the next morning—it was such a wonderful and authentic experience.
Overall, we are so happy we chose to stay here. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit...
Read moreIt's a Traditional Japanese House with great artistic touch to the place. The owner is very neat, tidy and informative regarding the house. The room I stayed in provided ample space to move around and organize. The beds are comfortable with nice and fluffy bed covers. The bathrooms and restrooms are nice and organized. If you booked here with breakfast, the owner will cook it for you in the time that you choose (morning hours). He cooks a fusion between traditional Japanese breakfast with a touch of modernity. The house are located pretty close to Fujisan station and a coin laundry place.

Read moreThis place is very convenient and pretty! The common area is super cozy and inviting. Makes you wanna just stay and chill out! The bed itself in the room was a little hard for me personally but not bad, the futon blanket was very fluffy, so i still slept well. I think the best parts about this place was the location (Walkable distance from Chureito Pagoda), the cheap bike rentals (1000¥ for a whole day) and the breakfast! Not only does the food look amazing but it tastes great too! The day after i checked out i wished i could have had the same breakfast!! I definitely...
