Fukuoka UBL Hotel — Hotel in Fukuoka

The hotel was very modern and clean. Rooms are also larger compared to rooms I stayed at in Tokyo - you can easily open your luggage and not bump against your companion. There was also an onsen which not a lot of the business hotels had. Hotel was not in the central shopping area but it was a 10-minute walk to Tenjin and there are also buses you can take if you don’t want to walk. Breakfast buffet was also quite good with the usual breakfast options for a Japanese-style breakfast. I went to Fukuoka by myself for 12 days and I ate breakfast here everyday. They have many different kinds of breakfast. Except for the buffet area, they also provide self-made dish. It's healthy for a person who ate tons of salt and oil on a day-to-day basis. The tamakoyaki is my favorite dish. The brown skin and shrimp roe inside with a mouthful taste is absolutely exquisite.

Sitting in the counter seat, watching people hustle and bustle. Sunlight drops on the road with a perfect angle in the winter. Such a wonderful experience.

The waitress and waiter are very kind. Despite my poor Japanese they still wait for me to finish the sentence with kind. They are the reason my trip can be so colorful.

Hotel has it's public bathhouses, washing machines, dryers, and vending machines are available, which is very suitable for travelers with light luggage.

The location of the hotel is also quite good, close to Akasaka Station and Yakuin Station, whether you want to take the Nishitetsu or JR, it is quite close. There are also many unique shops...
