This small museum describes not only the Korokan Ruins Museum itself (as a diplomatic facility), but also about Dazaifu (local government office that has jurisdiction over the entire Kyushu).

This museum was small but packed with information, they detail the Korokan ruins which were excavated and you can see the actual excavation front and center.
