Our family stayed at the Fenix Furano hotel for a week. We had breakfast here every morning and a few lunches and dinners. The breakfast was Japanese style. We are usually not big fan for Asian breakfasts but the breakfast here was surprisingly tasty, fresh and healthy. Lunch is quite simple but a few items like the beaf tendon bowl was so delicious. We would often come down from the ski hill and eat at the restaurnt with our ski boots on since the hotel is so conveniently located by the gondola station. It felt cafe like, not fitting of a upper class restaurant. I did not have a chance to really get into a conversation with my family.
