KEE Lodge Hakuba — Hotel in Hakuba

AMAZING!!! If you're a solo traveler considering one of the bunk rooms - book this place! I went on a solo trip to Japan, and staying at Kee Lodge was easily the highlight of my entire journey. I met so many wonderful people during my stay. We'd gather for breakfast before hitting the slopes, and in the afternoons, groups would unwind in the living room or venture out if they felt like it. The staff were excellent and incredibly knowledgeable. The room was clean and offered excellent value for money. The location was incredibly convenient, with nearby shuttles, numerous restaurants, and bars within easy reach (yet not so close as to be noisy at night). If you are here reading reviews, I’ll try to make easy for you. ||Kee lodge is more than the right place to stay in Hakuba.||Easy access, walking distance to Hakuba Valley free bus, also to many restaurants, shops and snow gears rentals (if you need). If you came from/to Nagano is walking distance from bus station. We stayed at Kee Lodge with 5 people for 5 nights, it was the best experience! The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the place was very clean and cozy. The host/owner was present and was so helpful in picking us up from the train and giving us recommendations. The common area was great for eating and hanging out after a day of skiing. I would also recommend using the hot bath room as well to relax. We found it was the best location in Hakuba, very close to bars, restaurants and shuttle busses, other areas require a car or lots of walking. The rooms were decently sized and very comfortable.
