Owners a very kind! We came in quite late in the evening and they showed us the room.
Our beds were comfortable and it felt that we were visiting a relative's house. A good basic room and there are hangers for drying the clothes on a coat rack. The heater in the room needed some time to heat up but it works well. There was a set of drawers in our room right next to the bed which would've been hard to access if we needed to use it.
The bathrooms are western style with the toilet and the shower in the same room. There are two down the hall on the second floor and another one on the first floor. There is a hair dryer behind the mirror and the sink space is quite small. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available.
The breakfast is a casual affair. You enter the cafeteria which also acts as the lounge room with a big T.V. and three large couches. There are also tables behind the couches.
You have to open the dish cabinet next to the small bread table and get the dishes you need. Two types of bread available, one toaster, and three different jams to choose from. There are bags of cereal on the table as well. The drinks are on the bar and mostly boxed juices and coffee. The owner will come find you and give you a waffle made in the kitchen. We washed our dishes in the kitchen after we finished since it seemed that was how...
Read moreWe were here for 2 month of snowboarding and the room was lovely. Saiko, the owner, is the friendliest and most helpful host I have ever encountered in years of travelling. She helped us with so many things and provided us with information about everything in and around Hakuba and she speaks English exceptionally well. The Inn is top value for money with a large kitchen for common use. The kitchen contains freezer, fridge, microwaves and a gas stove that is really nice. Plenty of space. Our room was really clean and comfortable and the Check in was super friendly. The Inn is located right next to Bus and Train station what makes arriving super quick and convenient and the shuttle bus to the Ski resorts fast to reach (
Read more10 stars for the owner. Awaited our arrival at 9pm and showed us around the whole hotel building. Breakfast, tea, coffee, juice, and a fully equipped kitchen provided, even a comfortable homey dining space. The 2 single beds were great, extremely comfy and really thick blankets. 5 minute walk from Hakuba Station. About a 20-25 minute walk to good...
