CHISUN BUDGET Kanazawa Ekimae — Hotel in Kanazawa

A budget hotel that seems popular with businessmen. It's located reasonably close to the Kanazawa train station, but not so close to the more happening parts of Kanazawa. Given the proximity to the train line, there's consistent noise throughout the day and night no matter which side the room seems to be facing that you may or may not get used to.

The air conditioned hotel room includes a small TV, small desk, bar fridge. There's additional amenities in reception but they are hardly worth it including toothbrush and razor but no shaving cream. However, they do have kettles and green tea. There's Japanese power points next to the TV and above the bed, but there was no bedside table to put anything.

For WiFi, during the day I was getting speeds close to 200mbps, in the early evenings about 50mbps, then during the peak evening less than 2mbps. This might be due to the amount of business people who seem to be using the hotel.

A nice budget friendly hotel, 5 minutes walk from Kanazawa Station, the main transportation gateway in Ishikawa prefecture. I arrived past 4pm and check-in was a breeze. You can grab the toiletries from the ground floor.||The room I booked is compact with minimalistic white interior. The bed size is single and its comfy. The private bathroom is clean and compact too, the space is really maximize. It has the basic of amenities but that what all you need. If you just want to sleep sans luxuries.||Since its close to the station, there are plenty of restos, cafes and conbini around. There is also vendo machine at the groundfloor near reception.||Overall, my 2 days stay is pleasant, not fancy but comfortable stay...
