We stay here in Minn Kanazawa for two nights, and we wish we stayed here for a full week. We love the hotel and we love the town. The room was very comfortable, they put us into adjacent rooms with a shared door in between for a family of five. Very comfortable. It has a washer and dryer and a small kitchenette. Very convenient for a family especially when traveling with kids. Washed bottles and pulled very easily. Google maps made it a little confusing on how to get to the hotel from the kanazawa train station, but it is only a 10-minute walk and if you just walk from the kanazawa station straight to the mall and make a right at the mall, this place is just a few blocks away. The sidewalks are also pretty wide if you take this route, making it easy for people who are traveling with luggage. The hotel also offers umbrellas in case it rains during this stay. The hotel also has baggage storage making it easy if you have to check out in the morning but still want to tour the town for the day. There is no fee for the baggage storage. The hotel has thought of everything and made everything super convenient. Will come back to this hotel again...
Read moreThe 'unmanned hotel' concept is definitely one you should alert on before a customer makes the booking. Self check-in is one thing, no staff and no services whatsoever is an entirely different thing. The lack of cleaning services is absurd, and even when we paid extra for the cleaning, the room was barely touched and was still stinky when we came back. The lights in the room turn on automatically in the middle of the night, not allowing to sleep, and we were unable to shut them off. This kind of issue is not an oversight, it is pure stupidity and negligence, and there is no staff to talk to, unless you go down in the middle of the night to the ridiculous 'Cloud reception' (and communicating through LINE app is not a substitute, because most of the world is not using this failing app, and you cannot requwst customers to download malware to their phones only because you think it is legit. You should also warn customers before ordering breakfast and pay extra that what you call breakfast is a warmed bun with ham and cheese and some low grade synthetic juice. This was my worst hotel experience ever, and you should shame for charging what you...
Read moreFantastic location central to many Kanazawa attractions. Though it is on a busy street the windows are well insulated so no outside noise. Check in is self serve though QR code as well as check out . You lock your luggage up if you check in early or need to leave your luggage. Your 4 digit hotel conformation code is your code for keyless entry. We booked the family room since there was 3 of us and it included a small dining table , kitchenette and washer/dryer. The washer is efficient but the dryer took a very long time so we used the washer and dryer on the 2d floor which were nice capacity and not busy at all. The Kanazawa loop bus stop is right outside the main entrance. You can buy the pass at the station or across the street at the Mitsui Garden Hotel. This pass was 800Y and gave all day access to the tourist bus loop or any bus within Kanazawa city as well as discounts at many museums. For those that prefer full service hotels, this may not be the place for you but we wanted space , laundry and central location. The rooms are very clean. It’s a 5 min walk to Omicho market and 7 min to...
