WOW! Super selection, if you think you know a thing or two about sake, come here and get schooled by a master. I am sweetly humbled, writing this the morning after and feel great even after drinking a ton of premium sake, drink the bottle of amazing Ishikawa water they give you!

First time trying a Toriizumi Nama (unpasteurized) Arabashiri (free flow before pressing), MINDBLOWN 🤯! So much energy, tension, green/ vegetal notes and even a teeny bit of petillance (carbonation).

One of the owners was so sweet she made me a card with my. Are in Japanese and even sent me home with my own tube of Karashi mustard (my favorite, for the trip)and a bread roll!

Guess I’m going there again tonight! You can see why it’s a favorite among locals and...

We were disappointed to be turned away from this sake bar this evening when the establishment was half full and had not yet closed. Both on the bar’s Facebook page and on their front door is a very detailed explanation of opening hours including the time of the last order, and we arrived beforehand. We had traveled some distance to visit this bar as we are enthusiastic sake drinkers visiting Kanazawa in particular to drink sake. What was particularly vexing about our treatment was that after we were turned away, the master raised his sake glass to us and laughed. Sake might be for sale here but hospitality and kindness are in low supply. We thankfully have had other excellent sake experiences elsewhere...

My husband and I just returned from possibly the best night of our lives here. We arrived at around 7:30 and left just before close.

The sake is incredible and the staff are so knowledgable and friendly. The owner and his wife are wonderful people who made us feel like family. We only wish we had more time in Kanazawa.

The food was spectacular, so much love and thought is put into every dish. The grilled miso crab was phenomenal.

We couldn’t have asked to find a better place to spend a night of our honeymoon.

I hope they read this because they made our whole trip. All the love

10/10 we will recommend this...

Went after diner for a few drinks and incredible selection of Sake, The owner is a sake hunter with a great list bit also very passionate to share and highly recommend to let him chose for you, Super friendly service but a very small team only him and madam so they can decline some guest if they are already too busy to make sure to give the best service, They really made our first night in Kanazawa, Thanks
