Where to start….the only thing cute about this place is the reception desk (a samurai and dinosaur) and the manga. Everything else is overpriced for no reason. 1000 yen to do laundry??? Not including the multiple times I had to run it because it doesn’t work right. Thats more expensive than some places in America. It is over priced for any place in Japan. I stayed in Tokyo and laundry was free at the hotel I stayed at. Here it isn’t free and I had to pay for the dryer AGAIN because it didn’t dry my clothes and when I took it out it was damp and hot. On top of that the room is dirty. Loads of damage to the room and the wall. Black marks randomly all over the place. Does this place get cleaned? It was so dirty I didn’t even take a bath as I don’t trust the staff actually cleaned it. In fact…is there staff??? I haven’t seen anyone. Plus the tax on this place was over 11000 ye, not including the room! That costed more than the room. If I would have known that I wouldnt have stayed here. The least you can do is tell people that your tax is stupid hugh so they aren’t stuck paying it. I haven’t even checked out yet and I can’t wait to as this place is horrible, overpriced, and not worth it at all. Please don’t stay here. I wish I didn’t. I stayed at way better places in the middle of nowhere Japan than here. I stayed at ryokans with taxes half the price of this one. What a shame as I was hoping I would really like the hotel. Sadly it is probably the worst hotel I have stayed at in Japan.
Seriously do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. Only good thing is the location. Why charge so much when your appliances don’t even work? I wish I could post pictures of how dirty the rooms are but sadly Google won’t let me.
UPDATE: After doing the laundry again my clothes still aren’t dry. Thank you for having me spend 1000 YEN for having wet clothes. 😒How do I contact someone to tell them this place is the worst? I have to air dry my clothes now. Wish I had gone to a coin laundromat.
Please let me post pictures on how dirty...

Read moreIt was our last minute choice when we had to change the hotel we had previously booked. The virtual receptionists in the form of a samurai and a dinosaur were an interesting surprise. The room was neat and quite spacious, unfortunately it turned out to be very noisy. Just before midnight, a loud machine noise accompanied by a pressure washer began to come from outside the window and lasted for a good 2 hours, if not longer, being very annoying and not allowing us to fall asleep. Additionally, even late in the middle of the night and in the morning, there was always someone running through the corridors, stomping passionately, so we didn't get a good night's sleep. I recommend it as an interesting experience at a moderate price, but I wasn't very satisfied. Self check out turned out to be a bit of a disappointment because the virtual assistants were turned off, so we just returned our room cards to the system. I probably won't...
